Join us for a trek up the Roaches, to raise funds for orphan sponsorships

This trek is raising funds for Human Appeal's Orphan Sponsorship Programme, supporting vulnerable children who have lost one or both parents due to conflict, poverty, or crisis.

Just £40 per month can help provide a child with food, clothing, healthcare, shelter, and education, while helping them remain in school and build a brighter future. Human Appeal currently supports over 52,000 orphaned children globally, with more than 10,000 children still waiting for sponsorship.

By joining The Roaches Trek and fundraising towards your £250 target, you'll be helping give hope, stability, and opportunity to children who need it most.

Distance: 13KM (moderate trek with some steep climbs)

Meeting Point: Exact Location TBC

Dates: Sunday, 12th July 2026 (LIMITED SPACES)

Time: Early Morning - Late Evening, exact times TBC (including travel time)

Registration Fee: £39 (includes transport, mountain guide, and breakfast)

Essentials:

- Waterproof jacket

- Hiking boots (if they are new please wear into them)

- Warm layers (like a fleece) it can get cold and windy

- Water

- Lunch/snacks (Sandwiches, nuts, energy bar etc)

- Any personal medication
